BASILISCO 
Basilisco is an historic winery comprising a network of Tuffo cellars cut into the sides of high ridges on the wild but picturesque slopes below Mount Vulture in Italy’s Basilicata. Now owned by Feudi di San Gregorio, Basilisco has come under the umbrella of one of the most important new producers in Southern Italy and is making world class wines at prices that do not nearly match the quality on offer.

“Truffle, blackberry, dark spice, dark chocolate and new-leather aromas take center stage on this delicious full-bodied red. The smooth, enveloping palate doles out juicy Marasca cherry, ripe plum, vanilla and a confectionery note framed in velvety tannins.
