KAZAKHSTAN 

As is fitting for any former Soviet state, vodka is one of the principal alcoholic beverages produced in Kazakhstan. One historical brand of Kazakh vodka, named Black Death, was released only in cans rather than the standard glass bottle. The higher-quality Snow Queen brand is now the most widely distributed on the international market, and has found its way to various parts of Europe, the USA, Australia and New Zealand. It is even found on the shelves of several upmarket retailers in London and New York.
