Product Profile Sheet 750ml
Founded in 1856, Cousiño Macul is the only winery amongst those established during the nineteenth century that continues in the hands of the founding family, who controls 100% ownership of the company. We are a company with tradition, character and identity. For years we have been concerned about being leaders in wine production, always bearing in mind our values, our history and the excellence of our wines. “Our mission is to produce world-class wines that are unmistakably Chilean, with character that expresses the unique taste of the Maipo Valley”, Carlos Cousiño, Chairman of Cousiño Macul
The 2013 Isidora Sauvignon Gris is sourced from plants in the historical vineyard in Macul next to the old winery and from the newer plantings in Buin. It’s a stainless steel fermented Sauvignon Gris, a variety that has pink-colored grapes. The grapes are less aromatic and less evident than its cousin finesse in the palate with good acidity. A very agreeable white, quite different.
