Damilano is one of the historical Barolo producing farms, founded over a century ago by Guiseppe Borgogno. The tradition was kept up by his son-in-law Giacomo Damilano and with his children, until it was passed on to his four grandchildren, who very attentively manage their forefathers’ land today. The wines are renowned for their upright style and the estate is widely appreciated due to the strictness and passion that accompany all of the company’s activities. The vineyards are situated in the most famous crus of the Langa region: Cannubi, Liste, Fossati and Brunate, which are almost entirely cultivated with Nebbiolo da Barolo.

Produced in Barolo for about 30-50 years, this varietal is cultivated in calcareous-clay soil which gives the wine a pleasant fruit bouquet characteristic of this varietal.
