MASTROBERARDINO 
Mastroberardino — a combination of modern experimenting with a centuries’ old successful tradition. Classicism and innovation in viticulture and wine making contribute to the production of wines of great impact. Mastroberardino is a steady and consistent point of reference for the grape growing and winemaking of the whole Campania region. The white wines are well balanced, soft and smooth, with a characteristic bouquet. The red wines come from a careful selection of grapes with a well balanced use of wood ageing, resulting in a very complex wine with aromatic bouquets and full, rich and original character.
TASTING NOTES
“The 2007 Aglianico is a rich, hearty red bursting with dark fruit, herbs and spices. Sweet herbs, mint and licorice come to life on the finish. Today the wine is a little rough around the edges, and ideally another year or so in bottle should do the trick. The score could go up here if the wine comes together in the bottle. Given the purity of the fruit, the likelihood for that to happen seems pretty high.” – Antonio Galloni, August 30th 2009
